Course Requirements:

Anyone interested in learning CPR & BLS can participate in our CPR training program. There are, however, some requirements to attend the course, such as the following:

  • 16+ is the minimum age
  • Students must be able to read and write
  • Physically capable of performing CPR & BLS

Certification:

To maintain your CPR & BLS certification after the course, you must take a refresher course every two years. After completing the course successfully, you will receive your CPR & BLS certification from our organization. This is an internationally recognized certification that is valid for two years.

Both healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals can benefit from our CPR training courses. Nurses, doctors, and EMTs should take the Basic Life Support (BLS) course, while non-healthcare professionals like teachers, coaches, and parents should take the Heartsaver CPR AED course.

To renew their CPR certification, participants must retake the course and pass the certification exam.

Each participant will receive documentation of their certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) upon completion of the program.

Participants must meet certain prerequisites before enrolling in a CPR training course. For the BLS course, participants must hold a current healthcare provider CPR certification and be physically able to perform the required skills. Neither prerequisite exists for the Heartsaver CPR AED course.

Participants in a CPR training course need not be of a certain age. However, they must be physically capable of performing the skills, which may require some fitness level.
